Earn a rewarding salary

Our salary structure aims to reward loyalty and professional development within Advo.

As a Disability Assessor at Advo you can also earn an annual bonus of up to 10% of your base salary. This would be split into two payments at each half year and the amount would be determined by your balance scorecard.

Disability Assessor 0 – 6 months service

£37,333 pa – £44,800 pa

Disability Assessor 6 – 12 months service

£38,333 pa – £45,800 pa

Disability Assessor 12 months +

£39,333 pa – £46,800 pa

The above is an approximate salary guide, which would be determined by your location and other factors.

Be supported with your career

Working as a Disability Assessor at Advo does not mean losing touch with your professional skills and qualifications as a healthcare professional.

Advo will cover the costs of your annual professional membership with one of the following healthcare bodies and you will also be provided with training and CPD time.

  • Health Care Practitioners Council (HCPC)
  • Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)

 

You will also receive comprehensive training and the support that you need to thrive in your role as a Disability Assessor, with access to our online learning resources and networking platforms.

Our Disability Assessor training is Royal College of Nursing (RCN) accredited and adheres to the standards set by leading healthcare regulators and professional bodies, including the NMC, HCPC and ABHI.

Be challenged in new ways

Working as a Disability Assessor is a challenging but rewarding role.

You will use your skills as a healthcare professional in new ways, honing your communication skills and broadening your experience working with complex conditions.

Day to day you will also write comprehensive and accurate reports, helping you to practice and fine tune your written assessment skills.
