Advo hosts first summer event for gold winners
Our gold winners celebrate their achievements as part of the annual ‘ V.I.P (Values in Practice) Employee Awards’ scheme at a special and exclusive summer event in Bristol.
The ‘V.I.P (Values in Practice) Employee Awards’ take place at the end of the year via a virtual ceremony or in-person event. The awards are based around our business values – Caring, United, Pioneering, and Dependable.
Starting in 2021 the employee awards scheme is an opportunity to celebrate and recognise the incredible work that our employees do throughout the year. Last year over 280 nominations were made with a total of 94 trophies being awarded and over 300 employees joining the ceremony to celebrate.
Employees were awarded bronze, silver and gold for each department including Advo Assessors, Advo Management, and Business and Customer Support Teams. The winners took home an engraved personalised trophy, a £50 John Lewis voucher and an invite to a special gold winners’ dinner that took place in June 2023.
Due to COVID, we hadn’t hosted a gold winners’ dinner before, therefore all gold winners from 2021 and 2022 were invited to join the event this year.
25 gold award winners attended the all-expenses paid celebration at No.4 Clifton Village in Bristol. The event was a great opportunity for employees to finally meet in-person whilst also celebrating the achievements of all our gold award winners.
Members of our Executive Team joined the dinner where they showed their appreciation and honoured all our winners.
Stephanie Dobrikova, CEO of Ascenti, said:
“It was a huge pleasure to host our gold winners’ dinner to celebrate our people and their achievements, and particularly great to see everyone in person given the disruption to these types of events in recent years.
“Attending this dinner was a great opportunity for everyone to interact with colleagues from across all parts of the business, no matter whether they were new or have been at the company for a while.
“I know that we all really enjoyed catching up with longstanding colleagues and getting to know others that we may not have had the chance to meet in person before.
It was wonderful to hear more about the amazing achievements that this group had been nominated for – from making new starters feel extra welcome, to great charity work, to going above and beyond for our patients. It all goes to show the incredible depth of talent in our business and special culture that we have.
“Congratulations again to all of the winners!”
